ABOUT ME

I have always been thin as a child, and I was never into any sports. After I had surgery to repair a bowel obstruction in 2008; I have had issues with my weight fluctuating. I lost weight after surgery, but after I healed, I gained my weight back plus an additional 30 pounds. At my largest weight I was 190 pounds at 5’6″. I have had a battle with maintaining health until I started a consistent diet and exercise plan in
March 2014.

Overall, changing my life to add healthier options have helped me improve. I have battled depression, and I have reached and surpassed limits that I never thought I could. The dedication, focus, and time it takes to make those changes was vast, but I have proven to myself that I can accomplish these goals that I set. The drastic measures that must be taken with diet, work-outs, and overall wellness to achieve success seemed impossible; but it has become a lifestyle change.

I take great pride in knowing that I’ve set goals for myself and put forth my best efforts in achieving such. I hope to be an inspiration for others in the fact that anyone can chose a challenge and push themselves to be the very best they can be. I hope to continue on into my career with helping others accomplish what I have for myself, and also be a positive role model for others seeking a healthy and active lifestyle.
